The combined revenue of the Group's joint ventures is approximately S$2,000 million in FY2003/04, with 77% coming from non-Singapore Airlines (SIA) customers. Taking into account SIA Engineering Company's equity holding in its joint ventures, non-SIA customers contributed approximately 41% of SIA Engineering Group's business. International Engine Component Overhaul Pte Ltd (IECO) is a 50/50 joint venture between Rolls-Royce plc and SIA Engineering Company (SIAEC). Formed in March 1997, IECO's core business is the repair and overhaul of the Rolls-Royce Trent and RB211 Nozzle Guide Vanes and Compressor Stators using state-of-the-art technology. Singapore Aero Engine Services Private Limited (SAESL) is Rolls-Royce's Asia-Pacific centre for the maintenance and repair of Trent aircraft engines. Singapore Aero Engine Services began operations in 2002. It is a joint venture between SIA Engineering Company, Rolls-Royce, Hong Kong Aero Engine Services Limited.〔(SIA Engineering Company )〕 The company repairs, maintains and overhauls Rolls-Royce Trent aircraft engines.
